Last week, Marvelous AQL revealed a new strategy RPG with life-simulation elements similar to games like Harvest Moon. Titled Forbidden Magna, the game is being directed by Rune Factory director Masahide Miyata.

After the game’s reveal, fans took to publisher Xseed’s Facebook page to ask if they would be interested in localizing it for North America. Xseed are a subsidiary of Marvelous AQL and recently published Rune Factory 4 in English.

The good news is that Xseed are interested in Forbidden Magna.

“We just learned about it ourselves, but agree that it looks great,” an Xseed representative stated, in reply to one of the fans enquiring about the game. “We can’t wait to get our hands on it and check it out ourselves eventually.”

In reply to another fan, Xseed said, “Yep, completely agree that Forbidden Magna is looking great. We’ll be keeping our eyes on it.”

Forbidden Magna is slated for release in 2014 in Japan.
