Sega announced that all three live-action Yakuza Powered by Nihon Touitsu episodes are now available on YouTube with English subtitles. These cover the events of the original Yakuza and Yakuza Kiwami and touch on the second game. The company didn’t note if they will be available permanently or they will eventually be removed from its official channel. In total, they last about three hours.

This is a fairly recent retelling of the early events in the Yakuza games, as the live-action adaptation first showed up on Amazon Prime Video in Japan in February 2026. It also isn’t a direct 1:1 recreation of the first game, though it does cover some of the major plot beats of Kazuma Kiryu taking the fall for the death of Sohei Dojima, getting out of prison, meeting and protecting Haruka Sawamura, getting involved in Tojo business, and uncovering the truth behind what happened to Haruka’s mother.

Another live-action series based on the games appeared on Amazon as well under the name Like a Dragon: Yakuza. That aired in 2024. You must go through Prime to watch it.

All three Yakuza Powered by Nihon Touitsu episodes are available via Sega’s YouTube channel now.
