The Yggdra Union remaster released in Japanese for mobile platforms in 2019 and Nintendo Switch in 2020. It appeared on Steam in early access in February 2023, complete with a full localization. Despite releasing in early access, this was a feature complete release. However, Sting chose to release this way to tackle bug-related issues and to get feedback from fans. The full release of Yggdra Union later in July 2023 will be accompanied with a localized Nintendo Switch version. That release will contain all the new additions to the PC version.

Yggdra Union originally released for the Game Boy Advance in 2006 and was later ported to the PSP in 2008. It’s part of Sting’s Dept Heaven series, which also includes Riviera: The Promised Land and Knights in the Nightmare. A Japan-only spin-off was released for Nintendo DS in 2009.

Yggdra Union gets its full Steam release and a localized Nintendo Switch release on July 27, 2023. It is also available on mobile platforms in Japan. The original game can be played on GBA or PSP.
