Yooka-Laylee Remaster Called Yooka-Replaylee

While this is a remaster, it is also described as an enhanced one with new features and quality of life changes. So the initial screenshots showed some of the new art updates. However, it also doesn’t show some of the new additions. So there will be a world map and challenges tracker, to help people see where they are and what they’re doing. There will also be new challenges and secrets to uncover. In terms of making it easier to play, there will be new controls to use, the camera is fixed, and people can head into the options to adjust different accessibility features.

Here’s the first Yooka-Replaylee trailer for the Yooka-Laylee remaster that shows all of the new features and content in action.

And here are some initial screenshots showing how the remaster will look when it’s available.

More information is also on the way. On June 11, 2024, Playtonic will host a Q&A session on its YouTube channel that goes over the remaster and its development.

The Yooka-Replaylee remaster is in development for consoles and PCs.
