Last month, Taito announced DariusBurst: Second Prologue for iOS platforms, and today, we know a little more about the game. Second Prologue is based on Darius Burst for the PSP, along with elements of DariusBurst: Another Chronicle, which was an enhanced arcade port of DariusBurst. You can watch a Japanese trailer for Second Prologue below: Like Cave’s iOS shoot-em-ups, DariusBurst: Second Prologue has a new phone-specific mode called “SP mode,” as well as the original game under Original mode. SP mode features new enemy placement and revised boss battles, as well as the Assault ship from the arcade version. The game also features four new music tracks from music team, Zunata. DariusBurst: Second Prologue is out now on the iPhone and iPad. It costs $11.
