Last year, Square Enix posted a net loss of 12,043 million yen or roughly $150 million. Square Enix reported a turnaround this fiscal year with 6,060 million yen ($75.75 million) in net income.

Square Enix made new paradigms just for Lightning’s one on one battle such as Blast Wizard and the special attack Aeroga Blast.

Square Enix also gives us more information about Lightning’s DLC episode, which will center around her battle with Caius.

When Serah and Snow first meet, they’ll be foes. Snow’s feelings makes him hesitate to Serah. Serah feels that Snow has always protected her and wants to see if she can stand her ground against her strong fiancée.

Square Enix’s second downloadable Final Fantasy XIII-2 storyline will center around Snow and Serah’s relationship. Snow’s Chapter: Eternal Arena is set in the coliseum where Snow arrives after drifting through time.

Snow fights alongside Serah and Noel as a guest during in a certain event in Final Fantasy XIII-2. Soon, you can add him as a party member.

Gilgamesh is not entirely without a sense of humour.

While Final Fantasy XIII-2 is quite different from the Super Nintendo era Final Fantasy games, Square Enix is throwing fans a bone with by adding Gilgamesh as a downloadable colosseum challenger.

Square Enix has two more costumes for Final Fantasy XIII-2. Serah’s outfit is designed by AKB48 idol Yuko Oshima and Ezio’s cloak from Assassin’s Creed for Noel.

Gilgamesh comes from Final Fantasy V and it looks like he brought a few of his tricks from Dissidia 012. In addition to swords, Gilgamesh has a rocket launcher and machine guns.

On April 10th, the Assassin’s Creed Ezio hoodie for Noel will be available for 300 yen or 240 Microsoft Points ($3). Serah will get a costume designed by AKB48 member Yuko Oshima too, which will be released on the same day for free.
