Streets of Rage 2 and 3, Gunstar Heroes, and other Sega Genesis games that are on iOS are all being discounted for a limited time.

Red, Blue, and Bluetooth. That’s one way to sum up the iPhone version of Gunstar Heroes.

The Sega Ages: Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box included a neat feature. You can choose to play the Japanese or “International” version of Gunstar Heroes. With a little trickery you can do the same thing with the Xbox Live Arcade version too.

An online enabled version of Gunstar Heroes will arrive on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade right after E3. The game hits PSN on June 11 and XBLA a day earlier.

Gunstar Heroes won’t be the only Genesis classic coming to Xbox Live Arcade this summer. Comix Zone, Phantasy Star II, and Knuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 are all slated for the Xbox 360. Unfortunately, PlayStation 3 owners only get Gunstar Heroes.

All signs are pointing to an Xbox Live Arcade version of Treasure classic Gunstar Heroes. The game got rated and an achievement list leaked. What about the PS3?
