Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition! How did it do? A little over 170,000 copies in its first two days on the market last week. The game was released on a Saturday as opposed to the usual Thursday, Media-Create could only track two days of sales until the week ended. Not too shabby at all. For more on who’s buying it, see this story.

Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition was at the #1 spot for the week on the software sales chart. At #2 was Shining Blade, which also sold a very respectable 120,000 copies on the PSP. At #3 was another PSP game, Madoka Magica Portable, yet another of Namco Bandai’s many anime-licensed titles, which are really proving to be their bread and butter.

Nippon Ichi had a game released last week, too: Labyrinth Tower Legacista, which sold close to 10,000 copies.
