This Week In Sales: Dragon’s Dogma Flies High

Top-seller: Dragon’s Dogma – 302,040

Nintendo 3DS sales: 55,212 | Total sales: 6,056,798

PlayStation Vita sales: 6,675 | Total sales: 710,121

 

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City enjoyed an impressive debut in Japan, with over 250,000 copies sold in its first week. Dragon’s Dogma, however, got off to an even better start, with over 300,000 copies sold upon release last week. Capcom’s new game was by far the highest-selling title of the week and stole the #1 spot on the top-20 software saes chart.

 

At #2 was Mario Tennis Open for the Nintendo 3DS with 101,645 copies. At #3, Uta no ☆ Prince-Sama: Debut on PSP sold 61,300 copies.

 

The same week, 5pb. also released the Steins;Gate Double Pack and Steins;Gate: Hiyoku Renri no Darling for the PlayStation 3. The double pack which contains the original Steins;Gate and Hiyoku sold 9,000 copies, while the standalone version of Hiyoku Renri no Darling sold 5,400 copies.
