<< Last week’s software sales chart

Last week, Sony released Naughty Dog’s latest game, The Last of Us, in Japan, and it got off to a good start with over 117,000 copies sold in its first week. Here’s how it compares to first-week sales of Naughty Dog’s previous PS3 games:

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune – 16,702

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves – 53,827

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception – 124,989

That puts The Last of Us right behind the highest-debuting Uncharted game in Japan to date. Not too shabby at all.

Other new releases for the week included Hyperdimension Idol Neptunia PP and Farewell Umihara Kawase. Meanwhile, Shin Megami Tensei IV appears to have sold through its first shipment and is likely on its second.
