<< How to read and understand sales

This year, just like every other year, Japan experienced a dip in videogame sales as the country’s Golden Week holiday came to an end. You know game sales were down because the highest-selling game of the week was a port of Final Fantasy X/X-2 for the PlayStation 4, and it sold just 15,913 copies.

At #2 was Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition, followed by Minecraft on the PlayStation Vita, which has been holding up nicely since its release. Finally, Style Savvy 3 and Borderlands Double Deluxe Edition for the PlayStation 4—the only other new release last week—rounded out the top-5
