The next Pokemon Pokopia event is Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest and starts on July 19, 2026. This will be one tied to an in-game minigame and activity to earn trophies. It can be played solo offline or online in multiplayer.

To take part in the event, you’ll use the Transform Ditto ability to get after meeting the character in Bleak Beach. You’ll then take part in the hide-and-seek minigame in order to beat certain records and get trophy decorations. Tournaments can be held if you play with others. However, there are some limitations in multiplayer. If done on a Cloud Island, then only the person who has the fastest time gets the prize. If someone hosts others in their game to play, then only the person acting as a host will get the trophy.

A few official screenshots were released to go along with this event, which you can see in the gallery below.

This follows a Pokemon Pokopia event that added a new character to the game. We were able to meet and get Jirachi to move to our islands after completing some initial event tasks that involved aiding other Pokemon and acquiring new furniture.

Pokemon Pokopia is available for the Switch 2, its Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest event runs July 19-27, 2026, and the Bubbly Basin DLC arrives in August 2026.
