Gust shared a worldwide survey about its upcoming Atelier Karia game that’s a follow-up to Atelier Yumia to get feedback on character, costumes, and features designs that could affect development. The company specifically mentioned “future initiatives” in the social media announcement and suggested participant’s choices could affect the game. People can share their thoughts on the character and what they’d like to see until August 23, 2026.
A few notable elements come up in the Atelier Karia survey, with one involving two pieces of character concept art tied to a feature that would change the lead heroine’s form and appearance after she eats. (One of the mechanics involves her eating any and everything for different effects or abilities.) Gust asked how people would feel about Karia’s body shape changing after a meal or snack and showed an example of how she might look before and after. Someone could then say if they like, dislike, or have no opinion on that possible feature.

The survey question following that asked what kinds of costumes we would like to see in Atelier Karia. Pieces of concept art for eight possibilities are shown. People can select as many as they’d like in a list, as well as write-in a suggestion of their own.

Finally, Gust asked what side stories about Atelier Karia and its characters people would like to see. It also noted these would not appear in-game, but didn’t explain where they would be shared. Character profiles for Karia, Fina, and Servio appeared after that, and the following options appeared after that.

- “A story about Karia’s mishaps and struggles with synthesis.”
- “A mystery hot pot party with Karia, Fina, and Servio.”
- “A story about a mysterious place or treasure chest discovered during exploration.”

Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories will be on the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam in early 2027, and the official survey will be live until August 23, 2026.
