Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II Includes “Episode Metal” For Episode I Owners

Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II is due out in May, and Sega are including an unlockable bonus for players that own Episode I on the same platform. If you own Episode I, you’ll get access to exclusive stages that act as a bridge between Sonic CD and Sonic 4, starring Metal Sonic. Sega released a trailer to go along with the news:

The Metal Sonic stages are actually reworked versions of four Acts from Episode I. Sega are calling this Episode Metal. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II will cost 1200 Microsoft Points or $15 on PlayStation Network or PC. iOS and Android versions of the game will be released, too.
