Kingdom Hearts III Becomes Fastest-Selling Game In Series With 5 Million In Worldwide Shipments

Kingdom Hearts III released worldwide exactly a week ago and Square Enix announced that it reached the 5 million milestone in worldwide shipments and digital sales to set a new series record.

 

According to Square Enix, the five million units in worldwide shipments and digital sales makes Kingdom Hearts III the fastest-selling Kingdom Hearts game to date. In Japan it released four days earlier and had the best debut of any Kingdom Hearts title in over a decade. With an Asia version releasing in May 23, 2019 and a Korean version to come later, Square Enix expects its sales to continue pushing forward.

 

Kingdom Hearts III is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
