Tetsuya Nomura shared a special Letter from the Director for Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] where he mentioned bits on Kingdom Hearts III’s ReMIND DLC and an unannounced third story line for Kingdom Hearts.

We previously reported that Sega is putting a pause on Judgment’s sales following the arrest of voice actor Pierre Taki. Taki voiced Olaf from Frozen in Kingdom Hearts III, and this will be changed with an update.

Last week in Japan, it was Devil May Cry 5 week with the release of the anticipated action game by Capcom. Otherwise it was a pretty quiet week with the only other new entry being Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn.

Square Enix put up a fun little stop-motion video for Kingdom Hearts III that features its exclusive Bring Arts figure collection, featuring the toy forms of Sora, Donald, and Goofy who take on a hoard of Heartless.

Last week in Japan, there were several key releases with the online multiplayer action RPG Anthem, NieR: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition, Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match DX, and Ace Attorney Trilogy.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was December’s best-selling title in many parts around the world so it comes as no surprise that it was top in Japanese digital sales for January 2019 with Kingdom Hearts III.
