Fairy Tail Gets First Screenshots For Jellal, Mirajane, and Laxus

Koei Tecmo and Gust shared screenshots for Fairy Tail‘s recently revealed characters Jellal, Mirajane, and Laxus.

Character gradually strengthen their bond as they fight together int he same party. As friendship level increases, special conversations play out. These include original dialogue made specifically for the Fairy Tail game.

Stronger bonds also means enhanced attacks. For example, the powerful Magic Chain ability lasts longer when teammates have an established bond. Additionally, you can unlock new battle skills by raising a party member’s Character Rank. You can do this by simply playing through the game’s original character relationship stories and main story.

Fairy Tail releases for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Japan on March 19, 2020. It releases in North America and Europe on March 20, 2020. Check here for first-print and limited edition details for Japan.
