Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity Commercials Aired in Japan

The shorter commercial is 15-seconds long and has more brief gameplay snippets.

The longer 30-second commercial focused more on event cutscenes, including some new scenes that imply Link is clashing with a new mysterious hooded villain.

While the first Hyrule Warriors featured a crossover of various titles in The Legend of Zelda series, Age of Calamity will be tightly linked to the Breath of the Wild universe as it takes place 100 years before the latter game’s setting. However, this action game will not have an open world and instead segment the BoTW map into more themed battlefields.

Just like Breath of the Wild, you will be able to equip Link with not only different weapons but also attires. If you have amiibo figures, you can also scan up to 5 of them per each day to obtain even more weapons and items.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will be released simultaneously worldwide for Nintendo Switch on November 20, 2020. A demo of the game is immediately available on the Nintendo eShop.
