As it stands, little information has been revealed about the series thus far outside of a key visual and logo. However, the official website has shared that the opening for Blue Reflection Ray will be performed by Shiena Nishizawa, or EXiNA. Additionally, an official Twitter has opened for the upcoming series and it has shared a trailer which you can watch below.

Blue Reflection Ray will follow the characters Ruka Hanari (CV: Haruka Chisuga) and Hiori Hirahara (CV: Manaka Iwami). However, what the story itself will entail and what connection these two girls share will be revealed at a later date.

In March 2020, artist Mel Kishida suggested that something regarding Blue Reflection was in development. Kishidia did not elaborate on what that was, however. Additionally, the producer of Blue Reflection, Junzo Hosoi, had stated in an interview in February 2020 that he was still working with Kishida in some capacity.

Blue Reflection originally released in 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Blue Reflection Ray is scheduled to broadcast in April 2021 to Japanese audiences.
