Pikachu distributions are about to begin! Ash’s Pikachu are all heading to Pokemon Sword and Shield, with the first one already finding its way there. As part of the September 29, 2020 Pokemon presentation, an event that will give people Mystery Gift passwords to collect Pikachus wearing Ash’s hats over the course of the anime kicked off.

One of the Pikachu is available right now. It’s the Original Cap Pikachu wearing the hat Ash word in the first Pokemon anime series. To get him, enter “P1KACHUGET” into the Mystery Gift from the Menu to add this version to your one of your boxes.

Getting Ash’s Pikachu in games has become something of a tradition. Multiple titles have had events or distribution opportunities to collect the characters wearing his hats. For example, Pokemon GO had one you could catch. Pokemon Sun and Moon had a Pikachu distribution event, as did Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon.

The official Pokemon website went over additional details. For example, they won’t eat Isle of Armor’s Max Soup, they won’t evolve, and you can only get each one once.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are available for the Nintendo Switch. The latest Ash’s Pikachu distribution event will last until November 30, 2020, so enter your codes before then.
