Asuka and Rei Wear Plugsuits in New Evangelion Nendoroids

Even more Asuka Shikinami Langley and Rei Ayanami Nendoroids are joining Good Smile Company’s Evangelion collection of figures. This time, the two are from the Rebuild of Evangelion movie Evangelion 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance and will feature Rei and Asuka in their plugsuits.

Both of these figures based on Evangelion 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance are early in the development process. As a result, there is no concept art, and we can’t see prototype photos just yet. However, the announcement included official art of Asuka and Rei in their plugsuits from that Rebuild of Evangelion movie so we can get an idea of how the Nendoroids will look. Asuka is wearing her typical red uniform with black and green accents. Meanwhile, Rei’s is white with some black, green, and orange highlights.

Here’s the Smile Fest 2024 reveal:

Both new releases and rereleases of Evangelion Nendoroids frequently appear. Two of the most recent ones were Nendoroid Dolls of these two heroines in their school uniforms. A Gendo Ikari Evangelion 3.0 movie one is coming, and it includes spoilers. A new Misato Katsuragi entry will also appear in 2024, and she comes with PenPen.

There’s no release window yet for the Asuka Shikinami Langley and Rei Ayanami plugsuit Nendoroids from Evangelion 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. The Rebuild of Evangelion movies are available to watch on Amazon. The original anime is on Netflix.
