Best Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Accessories

There are honestly a lot of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom accessories you can pick up for Zelda, with many of the best ones available either in stores or as rewards for going through sidequests or dungeons. It’s a lot! But since you can only equip up to four, provided you pay the Great Fairy for the right to be fashionable, picking the right ones is a lot! So here are the ones I recommend you use.

Here are the best The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom accessories, ranked:

Frog Ring

The Frog Ring is one of the absolute best accessories you can get and equip in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. You find it in the Still World version of Hyrule Castle when you’re going through that dungeon in the rift. What’s notable about it is that it has the Jump Height Up property. The best part of this is it makes exploring so much easier. Zelda can leap on two Old Beds stacked on top of each other in one leap, rather than just one, with it on. It’s fantastic for evasion too, since you can more quickly get away from attackers. Always keep it on.

Curious Charm

This, like the Ancient Charm, is an accessory earned from a sidequest. Both involve beating the optional boss Smog. The Ancient Charm has the Damage Reduced trait that makes you take less damage. That’s earned from the Hyrule Field “Let’s Play a Game” quest. However, the better Curious Charm is from the “Cotton-Candy Hunt” in Faron Wetlands. It features a much more difficult Smog fight and has Damage Reduced+ to reduce damage from enemies. It’s incredibly handy, especially in endgame fights.

Might Bell

Once you restore the Hyrule Castle, Eldin Volcano, and Gerudo Desert rifts, “The Great Fairy’s Request” quest will be available at her den in Lake Hylia. If you go through it, you earn a Might Bell. When worn, you’ll be alerted when a Might Crystal is hidden in the field due to Might Crystal Detection. It’s very handy if you’re hoping to upgrade your Swordfighter Form equipment and gauge, so I recommend having it on when traversing the overworld.

Zora Scale

I think Zelda’s swimming speed is fine, but the issue is that there are a surprising number of fights and areas where she’ll be underwater. That’s why I think the Zora Scale you can earn in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is one of the best accessories out there. It is earned via the River Zora sidequest “Precious Treasure,” which is available after the Jabul Waters rift is repaired. Get it, and you have Dive Time Up that lets her breath underwater longer.

Heart Barrette

Keeping Zelda alive is a big deal at all times in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, so I recommend picking up the Heart Barrette to assist with that. It is a reward for finishing “Beetle Ballyhoo” for Raslett in Gerudo Town. The Heart Appearance Up+ trait means you’ll find hearts more often when cutting grass, defeating enemies, or smashing items.

Goron’s Bracelet

This is mostly handy in the latter half of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. So it’s pretty great that… you earn it then! The sidequest it is tied to is “A Mountainous Mystery,” which opens up after you repair the Eldin Volcano rift. If you find yourself grabbing rocks or items in the overworld or dungeon and using Zelda to throw them at enemies to damage them, it’s fantastic! Carry Speed Up means she’ll move faster when holding items when it is on. Definitely keep it in mind.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
