Hogwart Legacy Patronus

Can you get a Patronus in Hogwarts Legacy?

The Patronus is a massively popular spell in Harry Potter, playing an important part in the narrative and the adventures of the world-famous boy wizard. As such, it is no surprise that people wonder if you can access the powerful charm in Hogwarts Legacy. The bad news for fans of the game is that, according to the official WB Game Support Twitter account, the popular spell will not feature in the game.

Now, this certainly seems a little strange, as the recent pre-release trailer for the game did feature a section where a Professor can be seen forming a Patronus. This may be considered too high a level for the students, however, or might be a surprise contained in a future DLC. Either way, for now, we have it direct from Warner Bros. themselves that the charm will not be in the game.

Can I transfer my Patronus from Wizard World to Hogwarts Legacy?

No, unfortunately, you cannot transfer your Patronus from Wizarding World to Hogwarts Legacy, even if you connect your various accounts. If you link your Harry Potter Fan Account and your WB Games account then you can import both your House and your Wand to Hogwarts Legacy, but not your Patronus. You can take the Patronus Charm Quiz on the Wizarding World website to get a Patronus if you don’t already have one, but it will be exclusively for that platform. For those who might be curious about the type of Patronus that you can get, we have listed all of them that we know of below. Keep in mind, there may be a chance that this is something that will be added to the game in the future, but the chances of that seem slim.
