Capcom have released a few of their Nintendo 3DS games on the Nintendo eShop as download titles in Japan. Most notable, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate are both available as downloads already.

According to the company’s Senior VP, Christian Svensson, We’ll be seeing Capcom’s 3DS games made available on the eShop in North America as well soon enough. On the Capcom forums, Svensson shared: “Many of our other previously released 3DS titles will be coming to the eShop in the coming months. Details to follow when we’re closer to release.”

Svensson’s comment was made in reply to a remark about Resident Evil: Revelations, and he used the word “other,” which presumably means that Revelations won’t be made available on the eShop for the time being.

On the other hand, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D seems like a given, but Capcom also released Super Street Fighter IV on the 3DS. Additionally, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be released in the U.S. this March. Perhaps we can expect to see that made available in downloadable form as well?
