Four key players from Brazil are introduced here including Carlos Bara, the powerful forward player nicknamed ‘Soccer Cyborg’ who would be later known as Carlos Santana. He is accompanied by his long-time partner Luciano Leo, who assumes a midfielder position to allow Carlos to perform at maximum potential. The team is led by the defender Alberto, and it also introduces a new original character in Keizinho, the always-smiling goalkeeper who uses acrobat to save goals.

After previously teased at the Online Modes trailer, Brazil is now confirmed included in Rise of New Champions‘ international team roster, which so far includes Germany, USA, Senegal, the Netherlands, France, Argentina, England, Italy, and Uruguay. The nations will compete in the new Junior Youth World Challenge tournament held in the US.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will kick off on August 28, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game will have multiple story modes where you can not only play as Tsubasa Ozora’s Nankatsu Junior High School team, as you can even create your own character and join one of Tsubasa’s rival schools as well, before joining forces with him in the Japan Junior Youth team.
