D3 Publisher announced their first Nintendo 3DS game, Dream Trigger 3D, in December. It’s taken a couple months, but we finally know what the 3D arcade shooter looks like. Sort of. D3 released three screenshots of the game today.

Dream Trigger 3D’s focus appears to be on colour and sound. D3 say that you use a sonar in the game to detect sound, expose colourful enemies and blast them. When you do, they explode into colourful 3D patterns. We assume that’s what we’re seeing in the above screenshot.

The game is developed by Art Co., and will come with 50 stages. D3 Publisher haven’t announced a release date for Dream Trigger 3D yet.
