Sing Along to Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition Defeat With New Lyric Video

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition Defeat

To celebrate the release of Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition on the PlayStation 5, a lyric video for the track “Defeat” has been uploaded to YouTube. A music video for “Defeat” was released prior to the launch of the game. However, this video now provides lyrics to the shortened version of the song. [Thanks, Gamer!]

The lyric video for Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition‘s Defeat has been uploaded to the YouTube of Japanese musician Hyde. Hyde has collaborated on previous entries of the Devil May Cry series, providing vocals for “Drink it Down” with band L’Arc-en-Ciel for Devil May Cry 4. More recently, his song “Mad Qualia” was used to promote Devil May Cry 5 in Japan. Unlike “Defeat,” “Mad Qualia” has received its own full-length music video.

You can watch the lyric video for “Defeat” below.

We recently spoke to Devil May Cry 5 Producer Matt Walker about the implementation of Vergil, if there would be any new cutscenes, and why Lady and Trish won’t be making an appearance as playable characters.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition is immediately available on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 for Australia, Japan, North America, and South Korea and on November 19, 2020, in other regions. Devil May Cry 5 is immediately available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and the Vergil DLC will appear for those versions on December 15, 2020.
