Some of these folks did share statements on social media alongside the reveal. For example, here’s one from Matthew Mercer on being the voice actor for Ganondorf again in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. He also voiced the character in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and the related spin-off Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment.

Erica Mendez brought up her role in the game too on social media and discussed being Princess Zelda. She also called the original release her “favorite N64 game as a kid.”

Lisa Reimhold also issued a statement about being Navi in this entry. As a reminder, in the remake we do hear Navi talk a lot more beyond the iconic, “Hey, listen!”

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is now available on the Switch 2. Other versions of the game can be found on the N64, GameCube, and 3DS worldwide.
