Last week, Namco Bandai Games released God Eater 2 in Japan, and the PlayStation Vita and PSP game sold a combined total of nearly 380,000 copies in its first week.

266,326 of those copies were sold on the Vita, and sales tracker Media Create reports that this represents a 75.86% sell-through for the Vita version of the game. Meanwhile, the PSP version sold 112,024 copies with a 63.29% sell-through.

Excellent opening sales for the game—and far ahead of the original God Eater. Considering that there don’t appear to be any ongoing supply shortages , it should be interesting to see God Eater 2 holds up over the next several weeks.
