Square Enix has a Final Fantasy VII Remake Butterfinger promotion that is about to begin. Basically, people who buy candy bars get DLC to use in the game. However, everyone who buys at least two bars at once will also get a Tifa dynamic theme for their PlayStation 4. While a video showing it in action isn’t available, a screenshot has offered a first look at it.
The Tifa dynamic theme is based on recreated artwork from Final Fantasy VII. Square Enix first revealed the image back in December 2019 on Twitter. It has her on top of the Nibelheim water tower.
Here’s the recreated art.
And here’s the original from Final Fantasy VII, which Square Enix shared again back in April 2019.
Past recreated art included scenes with Aerith and Barret.
As a reminder, the Final Fantasy VII Remake Butterfinger promotion gives you the Tifa dynamic theme and the first tier of DLC, a Midgar Bangle, if people buy two applicable candy bars. (Baby Ruth, Butterfinger, and Crunch ones all count.) To get every piece of DLC, you need to get 10 bars at once and act quick, as there are only 25,000 total Superstar Belts and Mako Crystals each being given away.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will come to the PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020.
