The Yummy furniture set is one of the more elusive collections available. How to Get Hello Kitty Island Adventure Yummy Furniture

Unlike other furniture items in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, the Yummy collection is exclusively acquired through crafting. The crafting plans for each individual item are scattered across the island, with the majority found inside the Red Hot Ruins on Mount Hothead. In order to unlock the Red Hot Ruins, you first need to raise your Friendship with Retsuko to level seven. This activates the “Enraging Ruins” quest, which will lead you through the ruins themselves. Two crafting plans are inside the Icy Peak biome. To gain entry to Icy Peak, you’re going to need to unlock “A Challenging Rescue,” a quest in “The Island Mystery” category. This quest is the original conclusion to the main quest storyline, and requires that you restore the various island biomes through prerequisite quests.

How to Craft Hello Kitty Island Adventure Yummy Furniture

Despite its kitschy appearance, Yummy furniture requires long-term investment and dutiful gathering. The material cost for each piece is enormous, with some asking the player for cooked items in the double digits. For example, the Yummy Bed alone needs 20 Milk Bread and 50 Sand Dollars to craft. The Yummy Mirror requires 10 Strawberry Ice Creams, 10 Sweet Lattes, and 10 Strawberry Sodas. What’s more, the items needed don’t follow a specific theme. Each piece of Yummy furniture has drastically different recipes. As such, you’ll need to optimize your daily item gathering as much as possible in order to craft each part of the set quickly.

At Friendship Level Nine, TOPHAT will become available for hanging out. His companion ability, “Pickup Glitch,” has a 10% chance of giving you an additional item whenever you pick one up! Only a set amount of each material in Island Adventure can be found on any given day. TOPHAT’s ability can reduce how long it takes to collect enough of them. When cooking the items necessary to make Yummy furniture, make sure to bring Hello Kitty with you! Her companion ability, “Sous Chef,” has a percentage chance of giving you an additional copy of every item you cook. This dramatically reduces the number of materials you will actually need to craft your furniture.

Many of the Yummy furniture items will require upgraded versions of the cooking stations to make the materials needed for crafting. You can unlock these by raising your friendship with various island residents. Here’s a quick list of who you need to be friends with, how high your friendship level with them needs to be, and the required machine they upgrade:

  • Soda Machine – Pekkle, Friendship Level 6
  • Dessert Machine – Pompompurin, Friendship Level 13
  • Oven – Hello Kitty, Friendship Level 15

Be aware that you cannot craft the Yummy Double Bed. To get one, you have to exchange a regular Yummy Bed for the double variant at Pompompurin’s Dessert Boat. If you don’t have time to collect materials or just don’t feel like it, ask the NPCs you’ve maxed out your friendship with to collect those materials for you! You can find the materials inside the blue and yellow chest in the Resort Plaza after the next daily reset. If you’d like to speed up your material gathering, try finding some Island Bouquets to reset the island materials. Good luck with your furniture crafting!
