How to Make a Catcher’s Net to Catch Bugs in Atelier Ryza 3

Like the Fishing Rod, you can start to catch bugs early in Atelier Ryza 3 if you find out how to make a Catcher’s Net. However, since one of the Alchemy Fibers ingredients is commonly found on Kark Isles, it involves a purchase from Kurken to accomplish before then.

Since this part is honestly identical to the steps for making a Fishing Rod, it isn’t too complicated. I recommend going for an early Catcher’s Net in Atelier Ryza 3, because there are bug catching opportunities even in Pixie Forest. Head to the dock areas of Kurken and buy the 35 Cole Pretty Shells.

After that, head to the Sunken Mine and go to the Evileater Tree Shore fast travel point. You’re looking for a green bush here. Use a Grass Sickle on it. This will get you Cotton Grass.

As with the Fishing Rod, the final piece is a Tough Log. Any fallen log hit with a Woodcutter’s Axe will get you one. You’ll see a lot of these in Pixie Forest.

Head to the hideout and Ryza’s cauldron. First, make the Alchemy Fibers with the Pretty Shells and Cotton Grass. After that, you can make the the Catcher’s Net in Atelier Ryza 3 to catch bugs by combining a Tough Log and Alchemy Fibers. Rather than actually swinging at bugs, check things like bushes and barrels with grass sticking out of them for these insect ingredients.

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
