Jack Frost Keychains Will Appear in Japanese Gashapon Machines

Keychains featuring the Jack Frost family of monsters from Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series will appear soon in Japan. Bandai revealed that it is gradually adding the keychains to its Gashapon vending machines across Japan. The lineup has a release window in the fourth week of March 2024, which is exactly the same week the company published the press release.

The Gashapon machines will require 300 yen before people can pull a random toy capsule. This merchandise collection will have a total of eight varieties. The Jack Frost, Black Frost, and King Frost keychains will be available with either a ball chain or a trigger clasp. Jack Frost will also have a second version where it raises its right hand. Each mascot will also have another hook on its belly, and the owner will be able to tie other keychains with that.

Although the Jack Frost family of monsters originally appeared in the Shin Megami Tensei series, Atlus included them in its derivative entries like Persona and Soul Hackers. Atlus has also been working with other companies to produce Jack Frost merchandise, which range from slippers by Animo in 2021 to figurines by Square Enix in 2022.

The pinchable and connectable mascot keychains featuring Jack Frost from the Shin Megami Tensei series will soon be available on Gashapon vending machines across Japan.
