Kingdom Hearts III released worldwide exactly a week ago and Square Enix announced that it reached the 5 million milestone in worldwide shipments and digital sales to set a new series record.

In Japan it released four days earlier and had the best debut of any Kingdom Hearts title in over a decade. With an Asia version releasing in May 23, 2019 and a Korean version to come later, Square Enix expects its sales to continue pushing forward.
