Nintendo shared a new The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake trailer that shows off gameplay and highlights new features tied to the Ocarina, Hall of Fallen Foes, and Nintendo Switch App Zelda Notes service. It offers a chance to get a better look at various elements. There are also more shots of the world and opportunities to see the new artistic direction.

We already knew about some of the new The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake features. The ocarina element is a big one. This allows you to actually “play” to perform songs in-game. You can also hum and have the game recognize the notes via microphone.

The entirely new to us The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time gameplay element announced here is the Hall of Fallen Foes, which lets you enter rematches against major enemies. This allows you to see “statues” of different enemies encountered and beaten. Going up to one lets you see a description and where they were found. In the case of bosses, they can be fought again. The example shown here was King Dodongo, and the rematch option also lets you see how long it took to beat the opponent the second time.

Finally, it closed out with a look at the Nintendo Switch App Zelda Notes feature. That shows the map, gossip quests, Hall of Fallen Foes, Today’s Record, My Play Data, Global Play Data, Photo Studio, Threads of Time, amiibo, Play Ocarina, and the Ocarina of Time Quiz.
