Limited Edition Pac-Man 40th Anniversary Memorial Jacket Will Release Worldwide

A special Pac-Man 40th Anniversary Memorial Jacket will be available to purchase worldwide, Bandai Namco announced. Pre-orders started today in Japan and will be available until September 3, 2020. The blouson jacket will release in Japan sometime in mid-October. The jacket made its appearance in the official 40th anniversary theme track music video. You can check it out below: The limited edition item shows up in the music video for the Pac-Man 40th anniversary official theme song by DJ and producer Ken Ishii. Yuichi Kodama, who directed the video, designed the jacket. As for the music video, it was made with the ’80s in mind, the same idea that went into the design of the jacket. The Pac-Man 40th Anniversary Memorial Jacket comes in two versions of Pac-Man and Blinky. Get a closer look in the screenshots below:

The special Pac-Man jacket will be available for 19,800 yen plus tax in Japan. Pre-orders are available here. Fans outside of Japan can pre-order the jacket here. With it being the 40th anniversary of Pac-Man, we’ve been seeing all kinds of collaboration goods for the series. Last month in Japan, the Pac-Man series got special 40th anniversary sake from the “Game Legend Sake Series.” It features five bottle with one for Pac-Man and the four ghosts Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. A Monopoly Arcade Pac-Man game also released earlier this month.
