Madoka Magica Homura Pocket Watch Costs Almost $4,000

Aniplex opened up pre-orders for a Madoka Magica pocket watch that is inspired by Homura Akemi. You have until September 13, 2023 to pre-order it. Because Aniplex will only produce thirty of these pocket watches (all of them with a serial number), it boasts a price of 550,000 JPY. That would be around $3,979. The pocket watch is a functional one. Inside of the face, the design motif looks like Homura’s shield, which she uses in the show to turn back or freeze time. Each number on the clock is a diamond instead, which is a reference to the shape of Homura’s Soul Gem. When you open up the pocket watch, the back of the lid has Homura’s lines carved into it.
