Toei Animation shared more information on the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie during Jump Festa 2022. The script and character designer for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is Akira Toriyama, the creator of the original Dragon Ball manga. From the trailer, it is possible to see that the Red Ribbon Army will make a return. The trailer also heavily features Gohan and Piccolo, and is a good look at how the combat sequences will play out. The CG animation that was visible in the New York Comic Con 2021 trailer remains prominent.
