https://www.siliconera.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/projectk_psp.jpg Last month, during a Yakuza 4 promotional event conference, Sega teased a new Yakuza game headed our way, but neglected to provide specific details. Titled “Project K,” the game sounded like it would feature an entirely new protagonist, in place of series staple Kazuma Kiryu.

Famitsu magazine were able to reveal today that “Project K” is in development for PSP, and does, indeed, feature a new lead character. A key difference between Tatsuya, the protagonist in “Project K”, and Kazuma, is that he’s younger. The game still takes place in the fictitious Kamurocho, the same locale as the other Yakuza games.
