Time for a reminder! If you’ve been thinking, “I want to wear the Pokemon Sword and Shield Leon outfit,” there’s a way to make that (virtually) happen. But, you only can for a limited time. There is a Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass early purchase bonus that lets you download that outfit as a mystery gift. However, as pointed out back in March 2020’s trailer, it is only available until August 31, 2020.
The Japanese Twitter account also shared a reminder about this special outfit. This is a gender-neutral set of clothes that is identical to the Pokemon Sword and Shield Leon outfit we see the champion wear throughout the game. The Japanese website also offered a better look at the different parts, paying specific attention to the replica of Leon’s cap and tights. (There are also full-body shots of both a male and female trainer wearing the entire outfit.)
Pokemon Sword and Shield are available for the Nintendo Switch. The first expansion, The Isle of Armor, will launch on June 17, 2020. The full expansion is $29.99 and gives people two new areas and adventures. Also, as a reminder, a Pokemon Presents presentation will be held on June 17, 2020.
