EastAsiaSoft’s surprise Nintendo Switch release has been revealed. It turns out it wasn’t referring to a March 2020 Indie World surprise. Rather, it is about SeaBed Switch physical copies. Standard and limited editions will be appearing in Summer 2020.
SeaBed is a yuri visual novel following three women, Sachiko, Takako, and Hibiki. Sachiko has been experiencing hallucinations, Takako has developmental amnesia, and Hibiki is a psychiatrist. As people go through the story, they’ll see characters fall in love and learn more about the conditions Sachiko and Takako are dealing with. It has one set story path and only one ending to earn.
The standard SeaBed Switch physical release will cost $29.99. It will have English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language options. There is no set limit for copies made for it. However, only 2,000 of the the limited edition, which will cost $39.99, will be made. It includes the game, six postcards, a physical copy of the manual, a collector’s certificate that tells you which number copy it is, and a soundtrack CD.
SeaBed will come to the Nintendo Switch eShop on March 19, 2020, the same day preorders will open for physical copies of the game. Standard and limited editions will be available in Summer 2020.
