Some PS5 Launch Games from SIE Worldwide Will be $70

Sony’s PlayStation Blog post going over its first-party PS5 launch games. That included the prices and, well, it looks like we might be seeing a $10 increase on some games across the board. Major, new titles like Demon’s Souls will come in at $69.99/¥7,900/€79.99.

The list of the company’s launch games consists of five titles. One is the Astro’s Playroom game, which will also be a means of getting used to the DualSense controller and its features. That’s the free pack-in that is installed on each system.

The cheapest base game will be Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which is a standalone game along the lines of Uncharted: the Lost Legacy. It will cost $49.99¥5,900/€59.99. However, if you get its Ultimate Edition that includes the full Marvel’s Spider-Man game for the PlayStation 5, then the price goes up to $69.99/¥7,900/€79.99.

Sackboy A Big Adventure is the second cheapest. It will come in at $59.99/¥6,900/€69.99.

Finally, we have the two games that will be no questions asked, $69.99/¥7,900/€79.99. These are the aforementioned Demon’s Souls and Destruction All Stars.

The PlayStation 5 will come to North America, Australia, Japan, and South Korea on November 12, 2020. It will show up in other regions on November 19, 2020. All five of the SIE Worldwide Studios PS5 launch day games will be available when the systems go on sale in their respective regions.
