A little bit of Resident Evil is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. While no characters have been confirmed as playable for the fighter, the series is getting its own Spirit Board event. Starting on November 29, 2019, the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Resident Evil crossover will begin and add four new characters.

The four Super Smash Bros Ultimate Resident Evil Spirits are all iconic characters. People will have a chance to get Albert Wesker, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, and Leon S. Kennedy. All four will be showing up frequently on the board until December 4, 2019.

So far, only Leon and Wesker‘s Spirits have been revealed via the Japanese Twitter account for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Leon is a two-star Primary spirit. He has a Thrown Items Up skill that increases the power of thrown items. Wesker is a three-star Primary Spirit. His skill is Fist Attack Up, which increases the power of punches and elbow strikes. (This is likely a reference to the thrust punch he is known for in the Resident Evil series.)

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is available for the Nintendo Switch. Recently, it offered a Pokemon Sword and Shield Spirit Board event and added Terry Bogard to the cast.
