Way back in January 2021, SNK announced the third collection of DLC characters for Samurai Shodown. At the time, the identities of two were revealed. Now, we know when one of them will show up. Hibiki first appeared in The Last Blade 2. She’s a blacksmith’s daughter who, in her original game, heads off on her journey after her father is murdered following his forging of a certain sword. She’ll join other crossover characters like For Honor’s Warden and Honor of Kings’ Gongsun Li in the game.

Here’s the Samurai Shodown Hibiki trailer showcasing the DLC character’s moveset.

Hibiki is one of the many Samurai Shodown Season Pass 3 characters. The first one in this latest round was Tam Tam’s sister, Cham Cham. A Guilty Gear character will also appear in the game as the second crossover cameo in this collection of fighters. There will be a total of four people added to the roster when all the DLC rolls out.

Samurai Shodown is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia. The Samurai Shodown Hibiki DLC will debut on April 28, 2021.
