People who may have missed seeing the first episode of the Nekopara anime purrmiere at Anime Expo 2019 can now watch the series in their own home. Its first episode made its debut in Japan on January 9, 2020, and the subtitled version has already begun streaming through Funimation.
Since the Nekopara anime has only just begun its run, episodes will trickle out on Funimation’s website after they air in Japan. Like the games, it follows Kashou Minaduki as she runs Patisserie La Soliel. Two of his family’s catgirls, Chocola and Vanilla, decided to stow away and “help” him on his venture. Kaishou’s sister, Shigure, and the family’s other catgirls, Azuki, Cinnamon, Coconut, and Maple, also appear. There’s also the matter of a new kitten that has shown up. There will be 12 episodes total.
2020 will be a full year for Nekopara. In addition to the anime series, Nekopara Vol. 4 will head to PCs in Spring 2020. There will also be Alphamax figures of Chocola and Vanilla in September 2020.
Nekopara Vol. 0 is available on PCs, while Nekopara Vol. 1-3 are available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC.
