The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Free Next-Gen Update Release Date Set

CD Projekt Red announced a The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt next-gen update release date. On December 14, 2022, it will show up online. PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC owners will be able to patch The Witcher 3 for free to add both enhancements and new content. People playing on systems like the PS4, Switch, and Xbox One will also get new updates and content in the future as well. There will also be a November 2022 Twitch stream going over everything.

At the moment, exact details about what the free The Witcher 3 next-gen update aren’t available. There are some vague hints as to what will appear with it. Ray-tracing support and faster loading are confirmed. There will also be graphics update to take advantage of the newer hardware. This patch will include The Witcher Netflix series items added in for people to see.

The PS4, Switch, and Xbox One patches will also include the The Witcher Netflix items. That will also include some other adjustments and additions.

For people who don’t own The Witcher 3 yet, there will also be a new version to purchase on December 14, 2022. That will be a Complete Edition with the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions and all other free add-ons.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The Witcher 3 next-gen update will arrive for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on December 14, 2022.
