Poor Frontier Gate didn’t make it into the top-20 sales chart during the week of its release. Instead, Media-Create’s top-50 report today reveals that Konami’s turn-based Monster Hunter-inspired PSP title debuted at the #26 position.

Still, the PSP itself sold an impressive 100,000 units the same week, even outselling the PlayStation Vita. Additionally, while a bunch of PSP owners bought Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha (about 57k sold), they picked up other PSP titles, too. So, what else did they buy?

#22. PowerPro Baseball 2011 Ketteiban (Konami) – New

#24. The Little Battlers Boost (Level 5)

#25. Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 (Konami)

#26. Frontier Gate (Konami) – New

(For reference, Mario Kart Wii, which was at #20, sold 43,752 copies)

That’s three Konami games, so I guess that makes them the unseen PSP champions of Christmas. Meanwhile, Vita software wasn’t as encouraging, but it is interesting to see which titles managed to stay in the top-50:

#37. Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational

#40. Uncharted: Golden Abyss

#44. Dynasty Warriors Next

#49. Lord of Apocalypse
