The North American Granblue Fantasy Versus release date has been announced. People won’t have to wait too long to play. It will arrive in the region on March 3, 2020, just under a month after the fighting game’s Japanese debut. (You can revisit the opening movie to get an idea of what it’s about.)
In Granblue Fantasy Versus, characters from the mobile game all come together for a Arc System Works brawler. Characters like Charlotta, Ferry, Katalina, Ladiva, Lowain, Metera, and Percival all face off against one another. Both single-player and competitive modes will be available. We also know Belial, Chaos Bringer, Djeeta, Narmaya, and Soriz will be DLC characters.
In addition to a standard version, we already know Granblue Fantasy Versus special editions are on the way. In North America, XSEED Games will have codes for items in Granblue Fantasy and things Character Passes, avatar sets, digital art books, and PlayStation 4 themes in its editions. In Japan, there’s a Dengeki Special Pack with a drinking glass.
Granblue Fantasy Versus will come to the PlayStation 4 in Japan on February 6, 2020. It will appear on the system in North America on March 3, 2020. In Europe, people can expect to see it in the first quarter of 2020.
