Even more people will have access to Nihon Falcom games. NIS America and Google announced the latest entries in the Ys and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series will appear on Stadia. Things will start on April 1, 2021, when Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III will both appear on the service.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana follows Adol and Dogi as the ship they’re traveling on crashes on an island. The two will work with other survivors to get by, find a way off, and also learn the secrets of the island. It will cost $39.99 on Stadia, which is identical to its Steam price. It will be followed by a Ys IX: Monstrum Nox Stadia release in Summer 2021. That installment follows Adol as he’s trapped in the city of Balduq and suddenly dealing with Monstrum abilities. It will cost $59.99.

As for the two The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Stadia installments, both take place after the timeskip and follow Rean after he steps up as a professor with a new Class VII. Trails of Cold Steel III will cost $59.99, which is the same as its Steam price. Then, a few days later on April 9, 2021, Trails of Cold Steel IV will appear for $59.99. That’s the same day it will come to the Switch and PC.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC and will come to Stadia on April 1, 2021. Ys IX is available on the PS4 and will come to the Switch, PC, and Stadia in Summer 2021. Trails of Cold Steel III is out on the Switch, PS4, and PC now and will appear on Stadia on April 1, 2021.
