Ollivanders in Hogwarts Legacy

Wand customization is one of the most important aspects of the Harry Potter world. In Hogwarts Legacy, the theme continues, as all wizards and witches have a wand that they are almost destined for. While nothing about your wand choice impacts your game, it is still an important section for fans to consider when playing. The wand you pick will be with you for the entirety of the game. Below, you will find details on all the different options that will be available to you when you get to Ollivanders in Hogsmeade. Don’t forget, you can also connect your Harry Potter Fan Club account to your WB Games account to get your wand from Wizarding World in the game.

Fans of the series who wish to make Harry Potter’s wand in the game are in luck. Potter’s wand consisted of Holly as the wood type, was 11 inches long, and contained a Phoenix Feather for a core. All these options are in the game, so fans of the Boy Who Lived can cosplay as the bespectacled wizard.

Can you make Hermione Granger’s Wand in Hogwarts Legacy?

Hermione’s wand was made of Vine Wood, was ten and three-quarter inches long, and contained a Dragon Heartstring core. You can also replicate the length of the wand, allowing you to make exactly the same wand that Hermione uses.

Can you make Ron Weasley’s Wand in Hogwarts Legacy?

Can you make Voldemort’s Wand in Hogwarts Legacy?

Is it possible to make Dumbledore’s Wand in the game?

Dumbledore’s wand, known as the Elder Wand, was incredibly powerful. The Elder Wand is made from Elder Wood, and this is an option in the game despite it being a very rare occasion to find a wizard who would pair with such a wand. The core of the wand is Thestral Hair, which is not available in the game, so you cannot make Dumbledore’s wand.

Hogwarts Legacy is available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC via early access, and will be available to everyone on February 10, 2023.
